Follow up with customers. A simple “How was your experience?” can bring customers back.
What to do
- Send a short check-in after the customer has had enough time to use or receive the product.
- Ask one useful question such as whether the order arrived correctly or met expectations.
- When the experience was good, invite the customer to review, refer or reorder without pressuring them.
Watch out for
Do not turn every follow-up into another sales pitch. Customers can tell when a message is only about extracting another payment.
Example
A skincare seller can check in a week after delivery, ask how the product is working, answer questions and recommend the next step only when relevant.
Presency keeps customer and order information connected, making structured follow-up easier than searching through old chats.
