Prohibited Items

Presency hosts online stores for independent businesses. Every store, product listing and promotion on Presency, including stores on presency.co web addresses, the Presency marketplace and ads Presency runs for businesses, must follow this policy. It is part of our Terms of Use.

1. What you can't sell or advertise

• Counterfeit and replica goods

  Products that copy another brand's name, logo, packaging or design so they can pass as the real thing. This includes listings described as replica, fake, imitation, clone, knock-off, first copy, master copy, mirror copy, 1:1, dupe, look-alike or "inspired by" a brand, and products shown with another brand's packaging or logos that are not genuine.

• Wrong brand information

  Listings that name a brand they are not, for example a product marked "unbranded" whose details name a designer or sports brand, or photos taken from another seller or brand without permission.

• Weapons and ammunition

  Firearms, ammunition, explosives and weapons designed to injure.

• Drugs and regulated substances

  Illegal drugs, cannabis, prescription-only medicines, and products that claim to cure or treat disease without approval.

• Tobacco and vaping

  Cigarettes, tobacco, nicotine and vape products.

• Adult content and gambling

  Sexually explicit products or services, and betting or gambling.

• Stolen, illegal or dangerous items

  Stolen goods, items that are illegal to sell in Nigeria or the buyer's country, and hazardous materials.

2. Selling real branded products

You may sell genuine branded products you are allowed to resell. Use the real brand name only when the product is genuine, and describe it accurately. If you are not sure a product is genuine, don't list it.

3. How we enforce this

• Product listings are checked when they are saved. A listing that names a brand together with replica-style wording, or that is marked unbranded while naming a brand, can't be published.
• Presency reviews stores and may hide any listing that breaks this policy, with or without notice.
• Presency only promotes products that pass these checks.
• Repeated or serious breaches can lead to the store being suspended.
